Great Early Morning Weekend Routine

Saturday mornings are packed around my house.  There is quite a bit to do.
Here is a list of the things that will happen in the next five or six hours or so -
I will take my daughter to soccer.
I have a 30 minute conference call that I will be on as I take my daughter to her doctor's appointment.
We have my daughter's doctor’s appointment.
We are going to meet some friends for a late lunch.
We will not get home until close to 4:00pm tonight, which means I have to get most of my work done in the early morning.
Here is what I did -
1. Spent 10 minutes recording a video for my assistant.  This investment of 10 minutes will save me hours over the next few weeks.  The video I recorded this morning is on processing my YouTube videos.
2. I sat down and began to write.  This is my critical activity for the day.  One of the core components of the work that I do is writing.  My first post of the day is one of the most important.  It sets the tone for the rest of the day for me.  I wake up each mooring having no idea what I am going to write about or what the day is going to look like and then I just let my fingers do the walking and things just seem to work out from there.
3. I will write at least 3 posts and then will start recording videos based on what is written.  20 minutes before I leave, we will figure out directions that will help us get to where we want to go today.
I have the same routine every day, whether it be a weekday or a weekend.  Doing something seven days a week (if you can) is great at accelerating your learning.  Once you get proficient or starting getting the results you want to get, then you can start taking days, but from my experience you probably will not want to take any days off at that point.
The key is to have a routine and to keep that routine simple.  That will give you the best chance of having the best life that you want to have.
Make today a great day.
