Creating a Routine - Inspired by Michael Materson's Early to Rise



This post is inspired by an article that Michael Masterson shared with the Early to Rise readers a few years back.  He shared how the first four hours of his day are completely dedicated to fulfilling on his primary goals.
A big shift for me in 2012 was to align my routine first thing in the morning towards my primary goals.
I wanted to get healthier, wanted to reduce my debt, wanted to be an awesome father and husband and wanted to add an additional 10K/month to my income.
Since the beginning of the year -
1. I have lost nearly 10 lbs (Since I was not overweight, this is a great amount)
2. I have spent entire weekends focusing on having a blast with my family.
3. I have reduced my debt load by more than $30,000
4.  I have added an additional 2K to my income.
I feel completely accomplished around the first three goals and have experienced some frustration around achieving the fourth goal.  I have not felt like I Was on target to reach the goal and switched the methods that I have used to achieve my goals multiple times.
I have to learn patience and the ability to practice routines that make a difference...
