Below is a quote entitled - How to Heal, from Caroline Myss, that I read on my friend's Facebook wall this morning.
Mental People don't heal. Visualization doesn't work. You have to work your body like a barn animal. You have to exercise. You have to start moving and break the spell; the generator will kick in. You have to do ultra-healthy food. You cannot sit. If you stay sitting, you will never EVER heal. Why do you think healing is going to be easy? Only the tough heal. Be tough, deliciously tough.

I had never heard of Myss prior to hearing this quote but it struck me for a bunch of different reasons. Now, I do not have any health ailments that I am dealing with right now but I am dealing with some work and some projects that I have been avoiding and need some healing.
Procrastination is the one thing that we all need to heal from.
Below are some thoughts –
1. When we get moving, we start the healing process - The energy that comes from that first action is amazing. When we are unwilling to put one foot in front of the other and move forward, we will stay stagnant and head in the right direction. Success comes when we are moving towards that end goal. The feeling of getting to the finish line and achieving our goal, whether it be finishing a project or healing our body, is a fleeting moment. It is worth being celebrated but that moment is not what our life should be about. It is the pursuit of that moment.
