Improving Writing Skills -Measure Your Activity for Greater Results

We resist taking an objective look at our activities and our measurements.  Personally, I just like to write and love to get my ideas out there.  Anything else to me is just superfluous and is not something that is exciting to work on.
I have gotten to a place with my writing, where I can crank out a lot of content but it still feels like the work that I am doing is occupying quite a bit of my day.  The fact of the matter is that I am only spending about 2 hours per day on my writing and creating articles.  However, I have trained myself that I am going to start writing or recording videos whenever I have a free moment.
There are a couple of reasons for this –
1. I am in the pursuit of mastery.  I want to get so good at this stuff that I can do it effortlessly.  Also, realize that pursuit of mastery is very close to being obsessive but it is important to be able to walk that fine line.
2. I want to start making money quickly - My original commitment was to write 1 post a day and try for three posts a day.  Now, I am averaging about 10 posts a day and am trying to build up to about 30 posts a day. I am not sure if I will get there but I am definitely heading in the right direction.
3. I don't want to allow my conscious mind to start guiding the process - This is the main reason.  My conscious mind has taped me out of so many things in the past.  If I start to think, then I am more likely to go down a path of saying that I will not be successful and will not have what I want.  Instead, I just continue to work and let my subconscious mind get convinced that this is series and start to overwhelm the conscious mind.  Note: I have no idea if what I said is accurate or makes any sense but that is how it lives for me.
Now, back to the main point.  It is time to start measuring.  Read the rest of the article here - Improving Writing Skills -Measure Your Activity for Greater Results
